The Cyclone Wrestling Club and the Gomez Wrestling Academy present The Best of the Best from Iowa vs. the Best of the Best from Illinois at the The Agony in Ames on October 29th, 2016. 
The line-up pits State champions, Fargo junior and cadet champions and All-Americans, along with junior and cadet world team members against each other. We will be posting match ups for the event in the weeks to follow. We are happy to announce the coaches for each team! TEAM IOWA will be coached by Dan Knight and Jason Christenson. TEAM ILLINOIS will be coached by Joe Gomez and Izzy Martinez. This event will be streamed live on Flo wrestling! We would also like to thank two of our major sponsors for the event.. The mission of the Cyclone Wrestling Club is to provide financial assistance and training opportunities for post-collegiate wrestlers that are training for international competition in pursuit of their goals to win World Championships and Gold medals. We also work to provide financial assistance to the Iowa State University Cyclone Wrestling Team in pursuit of NCAA individual and team championships. The Cyclone Wrestling Club also strives to provide events and opportunities to increase fan support for Cyclone Wrestling.

In our support of the Iowa State University wrestling program, the Cyclone Wrestling Club intends that all club activities will be conducted consistent with the requirements of the NCAA, The Big 12 Conference, and Iowa State University.
