1. What is the CWC?
The Cyclone Wrestling Club is a non-profit organization for fans and supporters of Iowa State Wrestling. Its focus is on providing funding for training and competition on the national and international level. Opportunities are provided for CWC members to interact with wrestlers and coaches. Each membership includes a subscription to the Cyclone Wrestling Club newsletter and other benefits in accordance with level of membership. Contributions to Cyclone Wrestling Club are tax deductible for the amount in excess of the membership incentives received. 10. Does the CWC hold any events throughout the year?
The CWC does hold several events throughout the year including the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open, our annual Kick-Off Dinner and and annual Golf Outing. In addition to these three staple events, the CWC also holds several Post-Meet Socials and gatherings including a "Members Only" social following a home meet. We also host tailgate parties during Cyclone football season.

14. How can my child get involved with the CWC?
Children can get involved with the Cyclone Wrestling Club in two ways: 1) they can become a Cy Grappler member of the CWC and they can also attend our CWC Training sessions held by former Cyclone Gary McCall and featuring several current wrestlers and members of the coaching staff.
15. When does the membership year run?
The Cyclone Wrestling Club membership year runs from NCAA Tournament to NCAA Tournament.
